ABOUT THE FILES
The following are MIDI files of arrangements I have written for my small swing/jazz band, which has had a variable front-line. Some of the arrangements are all my own work but others are small band versions of jazz classics, painstakingly transcribed from recordings - hopefully accurately. Some sections of arrangements may have been borrowed from other midi files freely available around the Internet.
The voicing of instruments is fairly straightforward and sounds right to me, but I am a late starter in the arranging stakes and consider myself to be a novice. Therefore I am always interested in what other arrangers have to say about my work.
A word of warning! These files have not been extensively sequenced and are only roughly balanced in the Notation program GenieSoft Score Writer 2.5 for my rather specialised General Midi SoundBank that incorporates SoundFonts gathered from around the internet. Instruments may have to be balanced for your Soundcard - particularly the volumes.
